Celadon Series
Having always been inspired and drawn to East Asian ceramics, I wanted to create a series that explored the beautiful celadon glaze. I first experimented with the traditional celadon green and then used different oxides to create a range of colours. For the forms I wanted pieces that were intricate and delicate to look at allowing the glaze to enhance the body of the shape more and adding patterns that are simplistic, thus my planters were created. Each different from one another making it one off pieces for the individual.
